Pers’Explorer
With Pers’Explorer, classes virtually embark aboard the PERSEVERANCE sailboat for a great scientific and human adventure in the heart of the Southern Ocean. Each week, students discover a new episode of the expedition: the daily life of sailors, the secrets of Antarctica, the incredible flora and fauna at the end of the world, and behind the scenes of Marine Protected Areas. Specifically, a weekly educational kit is provided to teachers: simple, clear, and ready-to-use.
Pers’Explorer is not just educational worksheets; it’s a total immersion in the expedition. Students can:
- follow the sailboat’s route on an interactive real-time map,
- interact during video conferences with the crew,
- discover a photo-illustrated logbook,
- explore additional resources to go further.
The idea is simple: learn by following a unique expedition step-by-step, and feel that, even from the classroom, one can participate in ocean protection.
