Discovering the Persévérance
The adventure continued aboard the Persévérance. This scientific sailing vessel from the Océan Polaire association, stopping in Nouméa after a mission in Antarctica, opened its doors to two successive groups from the CMJ.
Discussions with the crew provided a practical lesson on the ship’s design, capable of braving the roughest seas, and on the challenges of the Polar POD polar expeditions led by Jean-Louis Étienne and Elsa Peny-Étienne.
