The explorer Jean-Louis Étienne has just published “Perseverance, a Sailboat for the Future of the Planet,” with Michel Lafon editions.

Perseverance, therefore, is the name of an exceptional 42-meter sailboat, aboard which Jean-Louis Étienne has been sailing the world’s seas for 3 years. This oceanographic vessel will serve as the supply ship for the future Polar Pod drifting platform, intended for the study of the Southern Ocean, which encircles Antarctica.
