The PolarPODibus is a vehicle with onboard scientific equipment, designed to offer educational outreach to school audiences regarding the Polar POD expedition, organized by explorer Jean-Louis Étienne, whose objective is to better understand the Southern Ocean and the Antarctic environment.
The proposed activities primarily aim to raise students’ awareness of the expedition’s various challenges, in connection with the curricula of multiple disciplines and at different school levels.
The students of Claude Debussy College in Aulnay-sous-bois are the first to host it for this academic year.
