The scientific sailing vessel “Persévérance“, designed by Jean-Louis Etienne, is returning from a two-month mission in Antarctica to collect data on the little-known ocean and its role in global thermal balance. Currently in Nouméa, it uses autonomous measuring instruments to analyze atmospheric data in real time, contributing to our understanding of global warming. Interview with Lucas Zameknic, captain of the vessel “Le Persévérance“.
